Chris Wilden, born, raised and still living in a pretty Cotswold village in England, has always loved being outside and being active. In 2014, at age 15, he completed the National Three Peaks Challenge (walking the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales in 24 hours) with a friend; an achievement of which he is especially proud. Chris’ sport of choice is mountain biking, however he also loves backpacking, rock climbing, kayaking and many other sports. As an Explorer Scout, he has been a leader in his local cub scout group for three years, and has first aid training. One of his other passions is traveling and learning about new places and new cultures, and he would like to visit as many different countries as possible during his life. Chris also enjoys playing tennis, piano, and a little bit of guitar. He first experienced Play in the Wild! in 2011 when he attended a Community Camp in Wales, UK with his mum and sister. Since then, he has joined Play in the Wild! on Canoe Quest in Quebec, Canada; Backpack Quest in Vermont, USA; and two more Community Camps in the UK. In 2015, Chris joined the Play in the Wild! Animator Team for the Wild! Kids Day Camps. Chris hopes to stay involved with Play in the Wild! for as much of his life as possible.
